Hi all,

If someone solves my problem, I swear I'll send you a USB stick if you give me your postal address!! :-)

MTNL Triband DSL NU 846

Huawei MT882 Modem/Router

Ethernet, Bridge Mode, All OK

Regular downloads go at 150 to 200K

In uTorrent, the green tick mark is on. (Connection is fine.) Port is 21. utorrent port checker says port is open. People say you don't need to forward a port in Bridge mode. Also, people say the best speeds are in Bridge mode. In fact, in my browser, I get perfect 2M speeds.

I only download torrents with more than 30 seeders CONNECTED. Right now, my torrent has 160 seeders in swarm, and 42 are connected. But the speed varies from 10 to 40.

WHY??

ANY clue? Anything I can even try? Please please please!!

(Also: what is PVC, VPI, and VCI?)

For free 2 GB USB stick if you solve my problem, please include name and postal address :-))

  1. dude do one thing calculate the bandwidth first

ie if u have 320kbps speed divide it by 8 u will get download bandwidth in kilobytes

download speed is refferd in bits not bytes so divide ur download speed in bits by 8

  2. Hi,

Even iam facing the same problem i am having 320 Kpbs speed but while downloading torrents i get only 30 kbps speed, might be MTNL have done any restrictions.
