MUSLIMS: Does saying you are a kaafir, make you one?

If one said they are a Kaafir out of anger than does that make them a Kaafir. And they would never really mean such a thing like that ever.

  1. In all honesty yes it would, since only Allah SWT knows the keffer

A person can be evil all thier lives and then the last breath say the shahada.  We are told they are going to be saved eventually for that one deed alone if they sincearly ment it.

Remeber the garbage at the footstep story.  What more mercy would you like? It was given it was all given.

edit: Mintee - In the Quranic text there is no nouns or verbs... that is one of the miracles of the Quran it doesn't support itself that way, I suggest you read all your things again and go see your shiekh because your sadly mistaken.

The word your using is a meaning or translation of, Allah SWT has his language he gave that to you, and if you don't look hard enough what he said, and how he said it your going to totally miss it! As usual

  2. We are excused for that which is said out of ignorance or out of extremities in anger or happiness. The proof is in the narration of the man who said "Verily I am your Lord and you are my Servant" whilst being in extreme happiness.

  3. This shouldn't be happening from a Muslim though these terms are easily used by many to call others.  At extreme condition, if the tongue forcefully uttered a word of Kufr doesn't make one a Kafir. Kufr or Imaan is from the heart.

Anyone who is forced to deny faith after its acceptance, while his heart remains loyal to the faith shall be absolved; but any who denies faith willingly after its acceptance and open his breast to unbelief, shall incur the wrath of Allah and shall be sternly punished.  (Holy Quran:16:106)

  4. Some people say stuff out of anger, sadness, misunderstandings..but we really cannot take this into heart because Allah is the only one who knows if you're a Mu'min or not.

  5. I dont understand why some people get offended by this word.Calling a kafir 'Kafir' wont make me a kafir. For example, i call the Qadianis 'Kafirs' because they are 'Kafirs'

But i will never call a Muslim, 'Kafir' coz i know that will make me a Kafir according to an authentic Hadith.

  6. according to prophet Muhammad if 2 Muslims one of them said to the Other that, then one of them is. Either, he is a Kafir or who said it to him is accusing him with false accusation then it's back on him

my advice to that person is to do lots of prayers and istghifar "ask for forgivennes from Allah" and apology to the preson who was said that to him even if he didn't mean it

  7. no, because in your heart u know your muslim u beliive in everything that god to told u

    so no

So no that does not make u a kaafir

  8. I answered this before on another kafir question..

the word kafir as a verb, means one who has a different viewpoint, or doesnt believe what you believe.. a different oppinion..

so in essense.. we muslims are kafirs to other faiths.. We are the kafirs of christians, jews, buddists, athiests, hindus, etc etc.. get it?

This word kafir in its origin wasnt meant to be derogatory.. someone in this century, just made it so... like the word g*y.. its a beautiful word meaning happy and cheerful... now its turned into homosexual... So the term kafir doesnt have to mean anything bad.. We are all kafirs in the true sense of the term...

  9. no , not at all. if you call me a kafir whats the big deal? Allah knows my heart and me better than anyone on the planet.

if you call others a kafir out pf anger then you are forgiven cuz when you are angry it's not you who speaks but it's the shytaan who speaks.
