  1. Their is no MVP in a Pre Season Game .

  2. colt brennan (good game though)

  3. Please keep colt's performance in check.  Remember he was going against at best 3rd stringer and mostly guys who are in about a week or 2 going to be jobless.

  4. yea colt was a beast nobody believed me when i told them he was gonna be a good player everybody underestimates him

  5. I was just saying that Colt should be on the All-Preseason team, with the rest of the guys who look really good in the preseason, but never get any meaningful action in the regular season.  See: Mike Haas, Bears; Jim Sorgi, Colts; Brady Quinn: Browns.

  6. hi

  7. Brennan did a fabulous job, but he was competing against the Colts third and fourth string defenders.

Also, ESPN keeps showing that "amazing" TD pass from Campbell to Randel El, but he was being covered by a LINEBACKER. Of course the WR will win. That is NOT amazing, it will happen every time.

I don't think any of the QBs who played last night for either team did anything extra special to deserve the MVP award.

I was most impressed with Chris Horton of the Redskins. He's a free safety, but he had 2 sacks. Even if he wasn't facing the best of linemen, 2 sacks for a member of the secondary is quite a feat. He gets the MVP award in my book.

If the Colts had given Mike Hart more than 4 carries, I'm sure he would've done great things. 53 yards in 4 carries... That's nearly 14 yards per carry. He'll be a star in the future.

But Chris Horton was the guy last night.

  8. I would have to say Colt Brennan.  He went 9/10 on passes, 90.0 completion percentage, 123 yards, and 12.3 yards per pass.  He also posted a near perfect QB rating at 157.5.  He indeed looked like a vet.  What this says to me is that the Redskins are deep in the QB position.  Sure they don't have a Brett Favre or Peyton Manning in the making, however they have QB's that can get it done.  I think that if the Redskins will do well this season it will not be just the defense or Jason Taylor but it will be the offensive changes that they have made thus far..
