MX workout regiment????????????????

What is the best workout schedule for motocross? All you serious mx'rs feel free to reply. Im looking for something to prepare for lorretta's next year. BTW I race Open B and my name is Nate Campbell if I see any of you there!

  1. The program that my son is on has him doing light workouts with weights with lots of reps to build muscle, wall sits, squats,s kipping rope, running, sit ups, crunches early in the week, with the heaviest workout including training on the bike on a Wednesday.  The reason for that is that your body can recover enough from the workout for racing on the weekend.  The Friday before has the lightest workout and that day you being to hydrate so you are right for racing the next day.  

    High carbohydrate food the night before is a good idea as well.  

    When he trains on the bike he concentrates on doing every lap with focus, so as soon as he starts to loose focus he stops.  He tries to do at least 10 to 15 minute sessions as if like many people you only do a lap then stop you train your body to race like that so you do a lap and then your body says 'time to stop'

    The program that my son uses is designed by his trainer lee Hogan and it is called building Champions.
