  1. I have had that problem before. Once it was the flashing relay, the other the voltage wasn't enough so that the relay wouldn't make. If the lights are a marker and a turn signal light you may have a short somewhere. Make sure they are grounded good. check to see if you have proper voltage at the flashing relay.

  2. you might want to check for any cuts in wires.I had this problem on different bike and found a splice in wire.Once a fixed this they worked fine

  3. flasher units are very fussy about what globes are in the blinkers. Have a look at the flasher unit. It will have written on it what globes should be used. Then make sure  the globes are the same as specified on the unit.

  4. Make sure all the bulbs are the correct voltage. 12v not 24v. Check all bulbs are working. If new relay is correct one then it may be a duff.

  5. Sorry no answer here, but when you find out, please let me know.I am having the same problem with my Yamaha RT180.

  6. Check the battery.

The battery activates the tail light and turn signals.

If the battery has a low charge, it won't have enough power, to light the tail light and operate the turn signal relay at the same time.
