  1. Hello i my nephew once went through this stage and thats exactly what it is its a phase you should slowly try and introduce soft foods like buttered toast, mash potato and other baby foods this should slowly work and your child will start eating solid food , also cut down on how much milk is given

    Hope That Helps

  2. My brother lives on nutella! OMG! my mum bribes him because she feels so sorry for him! I was like that to but now i eat! It happens at that age they don't know what hunger is and when they feel hungry they will probably think its a stomach ache.Just calm down and start giving him some food put it down infront of him, if you have other children tell them to sit at the table and tell him to look how good they are they will end up like super heroes and so on if he doesn't just tempt him with something but it could spoil him like that so just only try it when you are desperate.

Or you can try low-fat milk which would make him hungry. Tell our other children if you got) to be roll models and so on.

    hope it helps

  3. keep putting food in front of him. don't push him. just put it in front of him and let that be it. My kids have gone through "not hungry" phases . I can usually get them to eat by putting food in front of them while they are distracted by the TV. without even thinking they eat it. My almost 3 year old likes sliced deli turkey shredded up into a muffin paper, and handfuls of dried fruit trail mix. I have also done chunks of string cheese, sliced fruit, and bowls of dry cereal.

you might also want to ask him why he does not want to eat. Does it smell funny? does it feel funny in his mouth (sensory issue)? does he not like the taste?

  4. My son went through this for months when he was younger, it use to worry me, even if you have bananas or sandwiches or yoghurt's or fairy bread around and sit with him/her while you watch a children's dvd they might see you picking at the food, and say "oh yummy", and then they will then try it.  That is what my paediatrician told me.  It took a while, but it did work.

If it continues, seek help via a children's clinic.

Good Luck honey, hope this works.

  5. pediasure

  6. I think you should ask your pediatrician.

  7. see a doctor!

or give him drinks that you have to chew a bit with.

  8. Limit the milk and if he is still thirsty feed him water. When he's hungry he'll eat.

  9. My son was the same way. You have to try to limit the milk, because he is probably getting full off the milk. I limited my sons milk in take and now he eats a little bit, but I give him multivitamins. He is fine. You should try that and if he doesn't eat, you might want to ask his pediatrician.

  10. try limiting the amount of milk, and do not push the food he will eat when he is hungry, if he keeps asking for milk tell him him there is not any at home and ask him if he wants a snck instead.
