  1. Active on..at any pharmacy.

I have arthritis in my back and hands and hips...and this soothes it quite nicely!

It comes in a roll on , like deoderant and you just roll it  where ever it hurts.

    Good luck

  2. THERE GROWING PAINS

  3. well i had growing pains just like that, later on in life it can appear in the elbows and wrists. If you are convinced or unsure, ask for a second opinion. But if its just short periods and pretty much like a sharp ache that lasts no more than a min or so, and its in the joints, then its gotta be growing pains. expect a growth spurt soon, drinking and eating like she has never been fed before lol. but yeah, if you are really worried, get a 2nd opinion.

  4. So called growing pains can sometimes be the precursor to other things in later life. For instance a conditon called fibromyalgia or another name for it is soft tissue arthritis can be passed down in families.

Some medical opinions say that kids with growing pains may be liable for this as they get older and growing pains sometimes are diagnosed instead of what they really are - the fibromyalgia

I have included two websites for you to look at - the first one is particularly good

Good luck with getting a diagnosis - mine was made some 20 years ago

  5. Try Ibuprofen or Tylenol or both if that doesn't work. I got that too and unless she has allergies to ibuprofen or acetaminophen then you can take them together.

  6. My son also had leg/knee pain when he was 5 years old. The pediatrician first said it was growing pains and that nothing could be done. I got a second opinion and was told he had flat feet. We took him to a podiatrist and had him fitted for shoe inserts that support and strengthen his arches. He rarely complains about pain anymore.

    Consider consulting a podiatrist.

  7. maybe take her to the local chiropractor. My younger brother is 14 and gets growing paind in his ankles and since he has been going to the chiropractor it hasn't been nearly as bad.

    well. i hope i helped=]

  8. i have heard of growing pains but never did experience them but have two grandkids that had this problem i would really take her to speciliat and find out first not the regular doctor i mean someone that can really check. take care.

  9. feed her a banana and some Gatorade daily.  have the doctor do bloodwork to rule out a medical cause.  if you are not comfortable with the pediatrician, seek a 2nd opinion.
