Bring it to an aircon service center to check for freon leakage on the system. Next, they should check on the freon using the proper gauge to check if it needs re-charging.  Usually, if there's freon leakage, compressure oil comes with it, hence you need to determine if you need to put more compresure oil in addition to the freon.  The source/cause of leakage should be fixed first before re-charging freon.
