MY BLUE IPOD NANO ?!?

Question

OMG! OKAY, SO I'VE BEEN HAVING THIS IPOD FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW. IT WAS WORKING PERFECTLY FINE TWO DAYS AGO AND NOW THE SCREEN IS BLACK ! I NEED SOME HELP HERE. I PLUGGED IT INTO MY COMPUTER USB THINGY AND STILL IT DOESN'T TURN ON, AND I HAVE AN ELECTRICAL CORD CAHRGER THINGY FOR IT AND STILL IT DOESN'T TURN ON ! I EVEN TRIED HOLDING THE CENTER BUTTON DOWN.

IPOD DETAILS:

COLOR; BLUE

GENERATION; IDK. BUT IT'S THE ONE WHERE YOU CAN PUT MOVIES AND STUFF ON IT ! :]

SO, PLEASE HELP ME !!

That happens to me every once in a while. What i do is leave it alone for over night or 2 and then it turns on. Why this happens idk? But it worked for me :) If you dont get it working in a couple days then I would go to a computer or and apple store to ask for some help :))

oh i think itz a 4th gen.....im not sure...call apple store and tell em to send u a new one if u got a warranty

to reset it you have to hold down center and menu buttons at the same time....

does your itunes recognize it?? if it does then hit restore and see if that works :)

maybe it got some water on it, or u did"nt charge it, or  u pulled out the cord thats why i got a ipod touch and im only 7 so thats why i open itunes and it say: iopd touch is full ok to disconnet  so thats why i charge it all day. u should charge it more.

Dont panic!

My ipod did the same thing

hold down the center button and menu button ipod should turn completely off

then try turning it back on

if it doesnt work just take it to BEST BUY Geek Sqaud they can fix it right up for you.  They did mine frre of charge took 20 min.

the same thing happened to mine! the back light probablly stopped working on yours go to the mac store and see if you can get it fixed. i need to do that with mine too.
