  1. Well... this is a Federal Offense (since credit bureaus are in different states.) He will probably be going to big boy federal prison (if the damage was substantial.) What was the extent of his crime.

Edit: A minor can go to big boy jail and skip juvie if his sentence is going to extend past his 18th birthday with no possibility of him getting out before then.

  2. No he will not go to jail. Minors can not go to jail.

If it is a felony, or major credit fraud he can be sentenced to Juvie, and have to stay there 2 years until going to jail or federal prison, that is a possibility.

But usually even a felony fraud can be beat.

Hire a lawyer, because on most cases of fraud, and theft, teenage offenses, diversion can be recommended.

That would be about a year long program, that would require payments, to be in school, to have a job, and usually regular drug testing, and that way he will avoid sentence and he will also avoid a charge on his record. Where normally it would say FELONY or MIS it will now say dismissed by diversion, now giving him a chance to be employed and have future.

  3. I will check your question again soon... please elaborate on the crime he commited... what kind of credit fraud?

  4. Well I'd say that he could give jail time and depends on how much he's tried charging on these credit cards will decide his fate.. I say put his azz in prison cause he don't sound like an overly bright person to me at all!!!!!

he could be charged as an adult...

  5. MAKE SURE YOU GET A PAID LAWYER!!! IS THIS HIS 1ST OFFENSE? THAT'S'S A WHITE COLLAR CRIME.HE CAN GET THE MAX IN PROBATION. HOW IS HE IN SCHOOL,DO HE HE GETS GOOD GRADES.HAS HE BEEN IN TROUBLE WITH THE LAW BEFORE. ALL OF THESE THINGS GO INTO CONSIDERATION.so i had in caps, this could be anyone child. i work in law enforcement

  6. Well - Lets look at the evidence.

He committed a crime that you knew nothing about?

Credit card fraud - and you knew nothing about it??

Where did you think he was getting the money from at 16???

Isn't it great that we all know where the fruits of our loins are and what they are doing????

I think its time that all crime especially fraud was stamped on at the earliest opportunity I therefore say my vote would be sent to big boys prison for a decent length of sentence!

Maybe its the example you set him 'hitman'

  7. Probably jail, since he didn't learn the first time, apparently.

  8. if he is guilty i hope he goes to big boy jail for a long time.
