MY CAR IS A 1998 PONTIAC GRAND AM W 2.4 LITER IT KEEPS ON OVERHEATING WHAT SHOULD BE DONE NEXT ALREADY DONE THERMOSTATE RADIATOR UPPER WATER OUTLET WHAT NEXT POSSIBLY WATER PUMP AND TIMING CHAIN HELP?

  1. It could be the lower intake manifold. or a blown head gasket.. Is there water in your oil? if so blown head gasket or cracket head also. go buy a comp. gage and pull out on spark plug at a time and check comp. while starting the engine. Do not have the spark plug wires hooked up while doing so!


  2. mine just kept overheating and we ended up having to replace the head gasket.  it could also be a cracked head. i just got lucky with the gasket.
