MY CAT ISNT CAT BESIDES THE MEOWING?

My cat Nacho acts like a dog. I mean hes little wimp at times but half the times drinking out of the sinks and tubs nd sometimes the toilets !!! He eats ANYTHING !! If i'm not lookin he will eat my pudding my cheetos my yorgut my bread my pasta my chicken , beef , pork ANYTHING !!! What do u think it is ? And do u think he will be alrite i mean with all the food and stuff. I always forbid him from drinkin from the bathroom though.

He is normal.  Some cats have ravenous appetites and will steal ANY  kind of food.  You really have to watch him, especially when disposing of string from cooked meat or chicken bones, and also tin foil with meat juice on it.  If you don't want him on the counter yell and clap your hands and maybe get a spray bottle.  Find a kitten food he really loves and maybe leave kitten chow out at all times, so he will never be actually really hungry.  The guy is fixated - some of them get like that.  Some grow out of it.  I had one that would sit on my lap and try to hook the food as it went from plate to lip, if I gave him the chance.  No respect at all.  He was a toilet drinker too - just remember not to use the toilet cleaner that you leave in the tank , which dissolves  in the toilet.  He sounds like a character - enjoy!!!

You don't FORBID cats anything :P  They don't care what you think.  All you can do is be more careful about things like leaving the toilet seat down, and watching your food.

Pets shouldn't be eating people food... it upsets their stomachs, can make them sick, and certain foods are poisonous to cats.

Thats adorable! I had a cat the same way, she'd even drink my kool-aid if i had some. She would only eat things if i ate them first though, so I'd soemtimes share my dinner with her if i couldn't eat it all. And as for the toilet drinking, I have some cats that do that too I think its cute cuz its kind of uncommon in cats but its all normal! Many cats are like that, nothign to worry about :).

I used to work as a vet tech and this lady brought an orange spotted kitten in to be put to sleep...She had run over him with her car and couldn't afford to get the leg fixed...Anyway...I had litter of brittany puppies at the time and rescued the little guy...I brought him home and immediately he went into the whelping box with the pups and "became" a brittany...That's what I named him...Other than the fact that he meowed like a cat, he was a dog....Sencerely, pure canine...

I know where you're coming from...Cats can be so diverse...

"Brittany" ended up ruling the ruste...He was top dog for many years until knidney stones killed him...

He fetched, he sat and laid down and even shook hands on command...He had absolutely no idea that he was a *cat*

I have that problem as well, but with my dog! he gets really scared on everything, he sleeps with his paw's over his eye's and loves tuna, he even makes funny noises like meow! to make it even funny er his a retied greyhound. even though I'm not a cat person (AT ALL!!) i still love my dog, his so loving and gentle, i wouldn't trade him for anything!

I'm sure he wont die form eating that stuff but to try to get him out of the habit of jumping on the table and such u could just spritz him in the face with water.

Piff my cat loves taco bell nacho cheese sauce, yeah strange huh? Its not unusual for cats to be willing to at least try a variety of foods. My cat likes mac n cheese, spagetti sauce, lunch meat and nacho cheese sauce. I don't actually intend to give him these things, he just manages to get into them when I am not looking.

I have a cat that actually likes water! Yeah messed up huh? He intentionally sits in the back of the shower tub and bats at the water having a great time.

He likes to sleep in the sink in the summer time, I think its cooler than his regular bed. He also likes to drink water from the sink tap. This behavior is not that strange to my understanding.

I would not worry too much about the meat thing though its really not healthy to let your cat eat too much people food (yeah I know should watch mine better and make sure he eats more cat food).

We had a cat that used to drink from the toilet too lol. Our cats love yogurt, and most kinds of meat. You'll want to be careful with the food. Sometimes a change in diet can produce diarrhea. Otherwise there's nothing wrong with drinking from the bathroom...as long as you don't use cleaners that stay in the toilet bowl.
