MY DEGU HAS JUST SNEEZED BLOOD FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! help immediately!!!!?

Okay. I have a degu and he is 2 years old. He is complety healthy.But then I bought this dust bath dust for small animals and after that he has been having respitory problems! he has been sneezing dry sneezes until once today...he came up to me as normal and was picking stuff of my plate then a dry sneeze, then for like 20 seconds he sneezed up little droplets of BLOOD!!!! he isnt sneezing blood up anymore but now im more worried and terrifyed then EVER!!! okay i need helplike is it from the dust bath a while ago or worse????

I would take to vet to make sure is ok. Probably dust bath irritated his nasal passages and could have given him upper respiratory infection or dried them out causing the blood. Little particles could be stuck in there as well. Better safe than sorry. Good luck to you and take a deep breath and relax as they feed off your fear and will get nervous if you are. :)
