MY EYES ARE RED AND ITS NOT POLLEN SEASON (I THINK) AND MY EYES ARE REALLY ReD AND HURT & I HAVE NO DROPS?

  1. - Add 4 drops of lemon with filtered tap water to an eye bath and rinse each eye for 30secnds, look clockwise/anti-clockwise as you do it.

    - Also consume 1000mg of Vitamin C, 1000mg Methionine to relieve the symptoms.

  3. As an alternative to eye-drops you can wipe your eyes with used tea-bags. These cannot worsen the condition. They are mildly antiseptic and mildly astringent.

    Allow them to cool and use a fresh bag for each eye so that if there is an infection you don't spread it from eye to eye. Wash your hands before and after touching your eyes. Don't rub your eyes.

    This could be an allergy, an eye infection, exposure to the sun or some other environmental cause. If it doesn't clear up quickly or if it gets worse, consult a doctor, ophthalmic optician (ophthalmologist) or a qualified pharmacist.
