MY FAMILY WANTS TO GET a DOG!!!!!?

we want to get a dog called a pemroke welsh corgi do you have any good things or bad things to say about them!!!!!

Corgi's are one of the best family dogs! They will need to be exercised regularly. Walks are important for a dogs state of mind. They are very smart and need to be well trained in obedience. I know two and both are in families with small children and both family's are very happy with them.

They are long so you cannot let them jump from high places.

Get dog-steps so they can get on sofa or bed.  They will teach themselves to use them.

Get a small indoor crate for sleeping at night.  They like caves.  Don't use it as a punishemnt.  I makes them feel secure.

Corgis generally make excellent family dogs, with training. As already noted, they are very smart, so training is essential. They do tend to bark a good bit, as most herding breeds do. They will also try to herd small children, and can nip at their heels, so make sure you give him plenty of exercise and discourage that type of behaviour.

OMGG. I love my corgi. she is adorable. corgis are extremely smart so if you get one you will probably need to put it in training because a lot of the time they can outsmart and try to control you. they do well with training. i have a corgi and she is the best little dog. amazing.
