MY FIANCE'S PARENTS HAVE HEPATITIS A,B,&C?

ok her parents have hep. a,b,&c. they arent the best at picking up their "spit cans" or keeping the bathroom real clean. she has a little boy thats 2, and i have a lil girl who is 1. i am concerned that their house isnt a good place to let them go, but i really have no controle if her son goes over there. what do you think we should do??? she feels pretty much the same way. knowing how it was contracted, but she is afraid to tell them. what should she do????

Dicuss this situation with your child's pediatrician or health care provider immediately, including screening and vaccine options.  When you contact the provider to make an appointment, be honest that there may have been exposure.  That will get you right in without having to wait days for an appointment.  You have every right to be wary of having the children there.  This is very serious, as some of those strains are very deadly, incurable, and can be transmitted rather easily.  Children that age are constantly exploring the world with their mouths.

    Please also keep in mind that if her child contracts a disease, that makes being around that child a risk as well, and young children are not likely to practice good hygiene.
