MY Garmin 405 wont download

MY Garmin 405 wont download data. It make the connection and gets to the tarnsfer point then "transfer failed.I've one route downloaded last week but none since.I tried:resetting both garmin and LaptopTurning of other devices - bluetooth and other wieless devices.Re-pairing.Nothing!Any ideas? Thanks
