MY LIMEWIRE DOESN'T WORK.... =[ help!?

when i click on the icon, nothing comes up...

you have uninstall the program then install the new one again

go to "start", click on "Control Panel", go to where it says "Programs" and click on "Uninstall a Program".

Find the program that you want to remove, then click "Uninstall". After doing that, go to google and type in "Download Limewire" donwload it and you're done!

restart your computer.

if that doesn't work, uninstall the program, and re-install it again.

Go to programme files

limewire folder

click related icon there.

if it works, get the shortcuy on desktop,by right clicking on icon ,  create short cut,,send to desktop.

if this does nothelp. re-instal  programme.

Restart your computer...mine does this sometimes.  If that doesn't work, you may want to remove it and install it again.

mine used to do that so i uninstalled it and downloaded Frost Wire...

It is the same as Lime Wire but it is much faster!!!

The best thing to do is to reinstall it. Just click Start> All Programs> LimeWire> Uninstall. After that, just download a new one and install it. All the music and stuff you had before will still be on your computer.

BTW, LimeWire is terrible. Too many viruses and stuff. If you want to get free music, use this site to get it instead. It's like a free version of iTunes. There's no viruses and it's 100% legal unlike LimeWire.

Make sure it's not already open.  Check the bottom right of your screen for the programs you have open and look for the Limewire logo.   If it's there click on it and it should open.
