MY PARROTS FISH ARE AT THE TOP

Question

HI FOR SOME REASON MY PARROT FISH ARE SWIMMING AT THE TOP OF THE TANK. I CHECKED THE WATER AND THE TEMP, AND EVEN ADDED SOME STRESS COAT. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME.

Have you checked the O2 levels in the tank?  If they only do it occasionally they're probably just being curious but if they do it all the time and they didn't before I would say the O2 levels are off.

Usually if the fish are well fed and still swimming at the top of the tank it's a sign they aren't getting enough oxygen.

the water may be not clean.if its too dirty they go on the top to get the cleaner water... u may want to clean the tank
