  1. once they get too big like you sed i think you should either sell it to a very good fish place that will take very good car of it...or get a very big tank that they could both swim around in very easily....

  2. Soup..

  3. Sell it.

  4. well first of all your fish store should of not sold you these fish, if they knew that you did not have a large enough thank.  You should probably have at least a 70 gallon tank for the bala sharks.  You should also have 3-5 of them because they are schooling fish.  You can either do two things with the fish.  1) you can return them back to the fish store. or 2) if you are dead set on these fish you can keep them.  Because what is going to happen is that they are not going to live very long because their insides are going to keep growing and their outside will not.  This happens because there is not enough room for them to expand and still swim around.  So basically there insides are going to explode and they are going to have a short life.  I would recommend returning them.  Sorry.

  5. Best to wither get them a 55 gallon tank of there own, or sell them to someone who CAN provide them with enough space. And yes they Will eat smaller fish!

  6. well bala sharks arent really sharks and they dont eat other fish. also they can grow bigger only if the tank and surroundings permit them to.it doesn't hurt the balas not to grow as long as they could elsewhere so in short you actually have no problem at all, congrats.

  7. Your fish wont get any bigger in your tank. They will stop growing on the outside and continue growing on the inside. The result will be a way shorter lifesapn then expected. Best thing to do for the fish is sell them, that is if there growth isnt already stunted. Best of luck Angel
