MY SISTER IS IMITATING ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS AND WONT STOP!

So, my sister used to make fun of me for reading fantasy books. Like i brought the third Gemma Doyle book camping and she was all

"enjoying your princess fantasy book?" (It's not a princess book AT ALL and it's really good!!!) Cuz my sister is like anti fantasy

And then my friend comes over, and my sister starts to like idolize her

and my sister was reading this one book of mine which is a realistic book, and she liked it

but my friend saw the book and was like "Oh I read that! I didn't really like it tho.."

The next day, my sister says: "I dont like this book anymore. I wanna read twilight." Which is a really good book, but it's fantasy. Oh yeah, and it is one of my friend's favorite books.

and its soooo annoying cuz shes like imitating her

and like jennifer is reallly super awesome but she can be kinda bossy/critical, like i baby talk to my dog because i LOVE HIM

and my friend's like imitating me and making fun of me for it, and just kind of stuff like that, and I don't mind that from her, that's just how she is and she can also be really nice.

but my sister needs to stop imitating her

because its getting really annoying

so now my sister makes fun of me for baby talking to my dog too

WHICH SHE USED TO DO AS WELL

And I don't know how to make her stop! I told her she's becoming a wannabe of my friend, but she just rolls her eyes and sutff. But I really really really want her to stop!

I guess she is from how you make it sound. You can go to Your friends house too For  a little bit without your sister She's just like any little sister

Hanging out with your friends Trying to act your ages.

Try to find out what your sister hates and make your friend act like she loves those things .

What ever though. Its normal Little sisters do what can annoy you the most and act like its not bothering you.

Ignore her when she says something your bestfriend does.

the more annoyed you seem the more pleasure she has of acting like your friends.

Just be yourself and ignore your sister. In Ten years you will not even remember these little things that upset you now. Being YOU and not worrying about what other people say or do to make you feel bad about yourself is just their insecurites ...meaning they dont like themselves so they pick on you.

it sounds as if your sister hasnt got a mind of her own. you should feel sorry for her because she has no backbone-be glad that you arent as easily influenced as she is. her type of personality is the kind that gets involved with smoking, drinking, and drugs just because their friends are doing it.
