Its not to late to change formula, but without knowing exactly whats wrong with him you will just keep going through them. I would talk to his doctor and see what they say. He could very well be sensitive to his formula. If not try maybe Similac Sensitive, my daughter had the same problem and that worked awesome.

no its not 2 late but i would take him 2 the docs just 2 make shore hes ok and putting weight on

It is never too late to change formula. We had to change my daughter's at 7 months. There aren't really any best formula's. They all have different effects on different babies. My daughter was on Heinz Nurture, and then we changed her to Karicare HA-AH, which is thickened and anti-allergentic. If your son has been sick you may need a thickened formula, and because he is constipated, check the amount of iron in the formula compared to the amount of folate. (Iron causes constipation, and folate counter-acts the Iron).

With formula, it's really trial and error, and the gold types aren't always best. When we were using Heinz, we swapped to the gold type and she broke out in a rash all over her face, and was throwing up, and became extremely constipated. As soon as we put her back on the regular stuff, she got well again, but it took a week for the rash to clear up.
