  1. Maybe you can use a multimeter and measure the ohms on two of the four leads to figure out which ones go to which speaker.  Each jewel cube assembly has two speakers.  Now for the subwoofer, I do not know how you would go about using that thing on an amp without cracking it open.

  2. Um, I wouldnt' recommend hooking them up, the Bose 321 employ 2 speaker drivers at a 90 degree angle inside the speaker.   Reason why this is done is to make the speaker sound more "3D" like and fill the room.

Hooking this up to your stereo system may blow your amplifier, since they are designed for a different amplifier setup and crossover settings.  In other works you may get smoke coming out of your AV reciever.

Bose does this on purpose because they do not want any other speakers on their system, they are very Proprietary.  Even the 5.1 systems have all of their speakers wired to the subwoofer, and then to the AV reciever.

Have you tried calling Bose?  They are usually pretty good at repairing for a decent price, if not free.  You never know!

  3. cool

  4. So there are 4 wires going to each speaker? Maybe they have 2 drivers in each physical speaker and run each on its own line? Im just guessing here as I am not familiar with the bose 123. If it was me, I would just start testing them, such as taking 2 of the 4 wires and connecting them, and see what happens, etc.
