Question

I get the error code :BCCode : a BCP1 : 00000008 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000001

BCP4 : 804ED2CD OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product : 768_1

How can i fix it and stop it from turning off? Ive use CCleaner, and advacned windows care V2 personal. I tried regcure but i need to pay for that and ive been told it might not fix my problem.

If your machine stays up at all, you should check your error log for an error message saying what is wrong.

Click start->right click on my computer->select manage, click on the plus sign next to error log and select system and then application and look for red error symbols. Double click on them to get the error message.

A major cause of frequent crashes is overheating. Make sure the fan is not blocked and if you are able open the computer and clean out any dirt.

Clean any viruses by going online to http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html

If that doesn't solve it, do a system restore.

Click start->help and support-> Undo changes to your computer with System Restore and follow the directions.

If all this doesn't work, use your OS installation disk to do a repair install.
