Do your PC a favor and run Defragmentation. Some files might be out of place causing your comuter to run slower than usual. You should run this atleast once a month.

Below can help you speed up your pc:

Manage your startup:

Open your Start menu  ->  Click Run ->  In the command screen type "msconfig.exe" ->  In the "system configuration utility", click either "service" or "startup" tab ->  Uncheck all programs that your are no longer using.

De-Fragmenting

1. Right click of C Disk.

2. Click properties.

3. Click tools tab.

4. Click "Defragment now".

5. Click Defragment.

You can search which process full use you cpu, and end the process.

Under steps:

1. right click on the TaskBar.

2. click the Task Manager.

3. click the processes tab.

4. double click the CPU.

5. find if the "System Idle Process" is max.

6. if not right click and click end process.

open the start button, all programs, accessories, system tools, and use the programs clean disk and defragment ar least once a week

That other answer would work as well. But you can also go into "tools" click internet options & delete your cookies & other things.

Then restart your computer so you renew your cash.

Run disk cleanup and the defragment your hard drive. If you want you can download ccleaner (which is free), and that will clean up any unnecessary files you've got lying around. Ccleaner basically does the same thing as Disk Cleanup, but from what I've heard it's better.

You need to be very carefull here. You can't jsut open your C drive and start deleting anything you think you don't need.

I suggest taking it to a shop or have a PC knowledgable friend do it.

Otherwise, first start in Control Panel,  Add/Remove programs. You can see a list of apps installed and remove the ones you don't need.

Again, be carefull here because you could uninstall a critical update or other software you may need later.
