New A.S Roma goalkeeper, Maarten Stekelenburg, has defended his decision to join the Italian side this summer.

move.

"They are ruthless in their criticisms when things don't go well but on the other hand transmit an incredibly charge when things go well. I was ready for a new challenge," the 28-year-old concluded.
Stekelenburg claimed that his team-mates have helped him to settle at the club and he is hoping for a bright future at the Stadio Olimpico Rome.
