Hello all, and thank you for taking the time to read my post. I just had one question that i needed assistance with. I am starting school this week, and have thought about buying a laptop. Ive always heard good things about Mac's and was thinking about buying one but the price was outstanding compared to other company's. Yesterday a friend of mine explained to me that when purchasing a Mac computer, if you can prove that your a student the price is dramatically decreased. She was saying something like instead of 2500 it would be reduced to 1300ish. Is this true, or has anyone heard anything about this? I checked the website, but i just did a fast pace browse and didn't find much. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. They only reduce the price by 100 bucks. Go to apple.com and then to the apple store section and somewhere near the bottom there is a scroll menu and you put it to U.S. Education and you put in your college.

  2. Ya I bought a MAC about a month ago, and I am a student it's not dropped that much. I bought the new MAC book pro and the decreased the value by 150 dollars, which is better than nothing, but it's deff not that much. But I love my MAC is is awesome. You can also my restored MAC, for a great value.
