Mac OS X (10.5.4): Why is the "cut" command always disabled in the Finder windows menus?

  1. Unlike in Windows, you cannot cut & paste a file, you have to duplicate it (command D) and then rename it


  2. command+x is only for text, in the Finder use drag&drop or copy&paste for files or folders...mac os x is not windows! ;)
