Mac and cheese or Mashed potatoes?

Macaroni and Cheese because it is a very good comfort food and it is quick and easy to make.

Mashed potatoes made with real butter and buttermilk or sour cream!  Definitely makes for some awesome potatoes - my family won't eat them any other way.

I personally think that mashed potatoes are yummier. But mac 'n' cheese can be a meal of it's own. It's a close race, but I still think mashed potatoes are yummier :D

Mashed potatoes but just for the sheer variety of flavorings or toppings that can be done. My fav homemade roasted garlic smashed potatoes!!!

Mac and cheese b/c it can be a meal by itself. Easy to make and the leftovers are good the next day.

Better, or Better for you? See, I prefer Mashed potatoes for several reasons:

1. They taste better than out of the box Mac-and-Cheese, and is not processed.

2. They are better for you as long as you don't add tons of butter and gravy. (potassium)

3. They taste like home. :) (I'm from the South)
