mc donalds is a bigger corp. with more advertising, better toy contracts, and more execs. they have more payout so they need to charge more for thier bottom of the line crappy food.

Either way you look at it if you compare McCy D's to the King you will find that even though it's fast food that "Burger King" is still healthier than the Mac D.  And the Big Mac costs more because Mc d's is trying to pay for all their steroid enhanced cows.  Then again the cheeseburger at BK is 40 cents more give or take a dime. B.K. does have chicken fries though!!!!  ;)

it's not mac donald, it's mcdonalds. haha, & i don't know, i never get big mac's or whopper's. i'd have to go with mcdonalds, because i go there more. but, i like burger king's fries better.(:

My favorite is McDonald's.  Big Mac is better than Whopper, so they can charge a little more.

Well that hamburgler is pretty attractive....but on the other hand the play place in burger king is easier to sneak onto, and it's got more tubes. ( I'm not some creepy 56 year old who goes in the play place, I'm only 14 just to clear that up ).

I believe it's because the type of cheese they use has more dairy content than BK's, therefore big macs are more expensive.
