Mac fluidline help??

Question

okay so i wear mac fluidline about everyday.

i use the 266 mac brush to apply blacktrak fluidline and everytime it gets on my lashes and then wen i go to put on my mascara, it gets all clumpy and doesnt go on evenly cause of the fluidline.

its so annoying! does anyone know how i can stop this from happening?

apply small amounts of the gel not big chunks

apply using an eyeliner brush , applying bit by bit until you get the intensity that you want .  let the creamy part set; then apply mascara
