Mac or PC at UCR?

Do more students use a mac or a PC at University of California, Riverside?

It depends, there is very little difference between the two.

PC's overall are a better system i.e. you can get a much better and more powerful base system for your money, than you can with a Mac. Although the Mac operating system (Leopard) is by far the superior OS between that and Vista.

I was in the same dilemma, in the end I chose a PC, I got more for money and I was used to the interface of a windows OS, the added bonus is that windows OS are 100% more compatible with the applications you will need in your college life. The downsides are that they tend to be much bigger in both size and weight and the OS system as many flaws.

At the end of the day, it is a personal choice - you can do all your school work on either a Mac or a PC, both will work perfectly for what you want to do.

Unless they are all media arts majors a P.C. is more commonly used.
