It Depends on your needs. If your a gamer who wants easy upgrades and fast speeds. PC. But if your the run of the mill average joe mac should be fine. As for laptops most pc and macs are good but mac-book pro is probably best in it's field

if u like looks, and want something that makes u feel great whenevr u open up ur PC, then go for Mac.

Windows is common now, go for something new and different, go for Mac

I love my mac! having a pretty much 0 % percent chance of getting viruses is absolutely great,

my only downside to a mac is if you're into any sort of gaming. playing online games can be difficult with an only one click mousepad. It's also hard to find games in stores that are even compatible with macs. A lot of  other cd's are just PC compatible only. but remember, this is the only downside! haha i love my mac anyway. i would recommend it any day

mac if your into video editing or music recording pc if you like to game or do alot of office work. but they will both do about anything just something are better one one then the other.as far as price you could buy or build multiple pc's that are faster than a mac for the same price as a mac. the hole price problem with mac is that only apple can sell you a mac and you cant go out and buy the parts from third partys to build one. with pc's they have competition with prices due to all the pc manufactures.dell hp. asus ,alienware,gateway.aser,toshibasony.just to name a few and they all have to compete with custom builds that you make yourself dirt cheep that are better than anything they sell for half the price.i have three pc's and a mac in my house two of my pc's i built myself in under an hour each.they are the fastest and were the cheapest and most reliable.and there easy to build its like playing with lego's anyone can do it. everything only fits into one place so you cant really s***w up.

also to anyone who says macs cant get virus's its bull.

you dont see virus on them because the people who write them want them to spreed like wildfire and effect as many people as possible.95% of home's have pc's.so its not beneficial for someone to spend the time writing a virus for mac because they're not as common as pc's. also some people have written virus's for mac there just isn't  enough mac users for it to spread out of hand.thats one of the reasons they sell antivirus for macs(and so macs dont spread a virus to pc's) also Microsoft stole mac,s security for vista(password protection when installing somthing)but they can still get virus's .i mostly use my pc's(but also love my mac, its so pretty) but i haven't gotten a virus in years.you just have to not be stupid and not click on c**p you dont understaind.
