Question:

Mac or Vaio to use ToonBoom Digital Pro?

ToonBoom Digital Pro along with a Wacom Intuos3 Tablet is the software I will be using. Originally I decided upon a laptop and after searching the Vaio AR71M at £799 seemed to be the most logical option. As apple laptops with the same specs are considerably higher priced. However whilst browsing I noticed the Mac desktop with higher specs is the same price as the Vaio Laptop. I am just having a hard time choosing Sony Vaio or Mac and want as many people's opinions as possible. I have always used Windows and cannot afford to make a mistake in my purchase.

  1. Its because desktops are easier to make than laptops due to little need for portability. That means that you don't need to spend working hours carefully arranging components, and extra money buying mobile components. If you look at the Vaio desktop range you'll find the specs for cheaper. But stick with Vaio. The Mac OS X is really annoying if you're not used to it, I know out of experience.
