  1. Macs are more expensive but are soo much better. They are worth it.

PC's crash all the time. They are less money but they are cheap quality and suck all around.

  2. Buy a PC ...

Macs are ugly and have major compatibility problems.  Mac computers are not that easy to get used to either ...

  3. Have used pc's and Macs both for years professionally. Hands down, the Mac is the only way to go!

  4. hands down, Mac.   Mac is able to run any windows program....  There is a reason why they are more expensive.  Plus, don't you own an ipod already?!

  5. Mac.

Windows crash easily, I've had my MacBook 3 years and haven't had a problem.

  6. Getting a macbook will be the best thing you could ever do. They do not mess up like windows computers. They re fast, reliable and do not mess up. The mac is a Wii which does not mess up and the windows pc is an xbox 360 that messes up after a while.

  7. Mac, Not its not ugly, more expensive but only very few viruses (if any). On the other hand, the pc does work with a few more devices, but overall the mac is the best way to go. the price of a mac may be expensive, but a pc at the same specs would be roughly more than the mac.

or for bout 600$ get a mac mini! :-)

I switched to mac, and i wouldn'twitch back! The mac can also run the PC operation system, Windows, Nativly via Boot Camp. The Newest Version Of Microsoft office (2008) is only for the macd, and the OS never crashes (almost), because it was made for the madc, not just any old computer.

So, yeah, Just splurge and get a mac!

  8. the only answer i can give you is too choose what you like best PC or MAC some times MAC can give you some advantages over PC but some times PC is a lot better but you need to choose which ever best suits you.

  9. Depending on the person, pcs are better. If you are patient and a knowledgable computer user, macs would be okay. But pcs have better software and upgrades available and don't crash if you aren't a "noob" at computers.

  10. It depends on your personal preference, are you a Mac-head or pro-PC?

It would be best to buy a PC if you fit in the majority of these categories:

-Likes to use freeware programs. Most freeware programs aren't

    compatible with Mac

-More for the "fun" aspect of gaming/internet/program use

    - Has enough common sense to download AVG Free and avoid viruses

    - Has some sense of security

If you fit in one of these categories, go for the (rather large) price difference of a Mac:

    - Will be used for more official (business-related) work

    - Isn't very secure in their abilities to avoid viruses

    - Is OK with having more limited abilities in their PC

I don't mean to say the Mac is bad or anything, but I fail to see the point in their existence. That's just me, and I don't care if you choose a Mac over PC. I'm just the person who likes to explore the open freeware programs that PCs are compatible with, and play around while having the common sense to avoid viruses. The Macs just seem like... Windows getting up from bed and forgetting to drink some coffee.

  11. save yourself the money, get a pc
