Macadoo Roo eying surprise victory at Poole
Macadoo Roo will be looking to catch her opponents by surprise in a flat race at Poole in England on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Things will not be easy for her in the Grade A1 contest, which is scheduled to kick off at 20:52 GMT.
There are some other decent greyhounds lined up for action in the 450 metres contest, and they will all be eagerly looking forward to make their teams proud. The winner will be awarded a cash prize of £97, so everyone will be giving their best shot
in the end.
According to the bookmakers, no one will be able to challenge Pomphrett and Catunda Lucca, as they have been doing a reasonable job for their respective trainers. They have been rated as the joint favourites to succeed and will enter the competition
with a starting price of 5 to 2.
However, the latter of the two will definitely get the attention of the punters, as he will be starting from an ideal position. He debuted this year and has participated in quite a few events since then, which means that his confidence level will be
good.
Moreover, the J. Burridge’s trainee has been doing a very good job in this class, which will help him deliver a strong result. He has participated in different classes and his performances in them have not been bad at all.
Droopys Scolari’s son will be starting today’s race from trap number one, which will be a good position for him to be in. He will get a chance of attacking the rest from the start, which could help him dominate the proceedings at Poole.
In his most recent outing, Grade A1 Catunda Lucca failed to make a strong impression, as he had to settle for fifth place. However, he has the ability to make a strong comeback and will be fancying his chances of a victory.
Coming back to Macadoo Roo, she is carrying a pretty decent momentum right now, as she finished as a runner up in her most recent race. A similar result could help her claim the top spot at Poole.
The D. Mitchell’s trained b***h will break into the contest from trap number two, thus she will have to be a touch concerned about being crowded at the start.
