Macau Open Badminton GP Gold: Yuki Kaneko ousts Albertino Filipe in Men’s Singles qualifying round
Yuki Kaneko, a talented male shuttler from Japan, showed amazing skills and reached into Men’s Singles main round after beating Albertino Filipe Jorge De Assis in qualifying round of Kumpoo Macau Open Badminton GP Gold 2012 on Tuesday, November 27, in Macau.
The impressive Kaneko, who is one of the most talented and young shuttlers from Japan, showed a ruthless treatment for his local challenger as he played with a stunning speed and eventually won the match in just 15 minutes.
Kaneko was in remarkable form in the arena as he played attacking badminton and defeated his challenger in a completely one-sided fashion with a completely killing margin on score board.
On the contrary, Albertino Filipe was shocked with the cruel treatment that he got from his Japanese challenger. He was clearly lacking the skills to create trouble for his rival and easily went down against him with a humiliating total.
The aggressive Kaneko showed a surprising performance in the arena from the starting points of first game as he played with amazing speed and power and grabbed the control of the affairs.
The unmatched speed and incredible precision in Kaneko’s shots helped him to stay in complete control of rallies as he did not face any trouble from his challenger.
Kaneko did not show any sign of confusion as he remained in complete command of the pace until the end of first part.
The underdog Albertino Filipe could not change things around after the mid-game interval as he lost his focus and made numerous errors by hitting negative shots.
Japanese shuttler continued employing powerful shots in targeted areas and eventually took the opening game with a staggering margin of 21-1.
Things were not much different in the second game of this interesting battle as Kaneko played in the similar aggressive way.
Kaneko entertained the crowd with his unparalleled craft that assisted him to maintain pressure on his rival who could not produce good form.
In the concluding part of second game, the impressive Kaneko continued his comfortable ride and easily finished up the second set with a big difference of 21-3.
The impressive Japanese player emerged as the winner against the local shuttler in a one-sided way with a 21-1 and 21-3 score on the board.
