Macbook- iTunes docked on the front of the screen?

I am a brand new mac user, and I cannot figure out why iTunes is always on top of all other programs. When another program is up behind it, and I go to click on it, iTunes wont let it come to the front unless I actually minimize it first. I've checked my preferences a million times. Is there any way to change this?

  1. Did you try iTunes Preferences > Advanced > General > Uncheck: Keep MiniPlayer on top of other windows?


  2. Can you just put iTunes in the dock and leave it there, out of the way?
