Macbooks and PC compatability.?

I am thinking of getting a macbook laptop but am wondering if it would connect to my bigpond wireless broadband at home? can anyone help? also would like to know if ALL programs such as ares, smartmusic, finale notepad, auralia etc can be installed on a mac.

  1. The MacBook will communicate with your wireless with no problem.

    Yes, you can run Windows and any Windows program on a Mac using Boot Camp or Parallels Desktop.  But you won't.  Mac users get used to the Mac of doing things and forget about Windows.  You could check the webstes of those programs to see if they have Mac versions.  If you want to run the same software in the same way that you are used to, buy a PC--they're cheaper.  


  2. Sorry i can't answer the broadband question but i would say its very likely that you could connect. As for the programs, you can install parallels on a mac which lets you run windows as well as mac OSX so then you can install windows on your mac and all the windows programs you want
