Question:

Machine sews only backward

I just got a "new" refurbished Janome Harmony 2049. It sewed fine at first, but after the first time I used the backwards switch, I could not get the machine to sew forward again. Any suggestions? Should I send it back or can I take it apart and fix it?Thanks!!!!!
