Machinist part time/college job?

Question

I'm currently attending a technical school in Boston for mechanical engineering. One of the jobs I'm very interested in is becoming a machinist. Any suggestions on who I could contact about working somewhere while I was in school to gain expierience? I'd really love to get some practice at it.
