I want to install bootcamp for my mac but do we need a windows xp cd to do it?

i have an iMac

  1. You don't need Windows to set up Bootcamp - Bootcamp will set itself up via the Bootcamp Wizard. You just need to install Windows on the Bootcamp partition when you are done.

    The only catch with Bootcamp is that you can only run ONE OS at a time. With Parallels or VMware you can run Mac and Windows together and just flip between screens.


  2. Yes a Windows XP CD (or vista) is needed to install BootCamp.
