Macintosh error code -10810

Question

I can't get my new MacBookPro running OS 10.5.5 to load the software for my Novatel wireless card, so I went to the Sprint site and downloaded the driver again. It downloaded as a zipped file. I tried to open the zip file with StuffIt Expander and got an error code -10810. What's that, and why can't I open the driver or run the ''old'' driver, which works just fine on my MacBookAir?
