  1. Do you have M$ office for Mac installed on your mac?  Here's a link to an open source (free) office suite. http://www.openoffice.org/

  2. Mac has a program called Keynote that is similar to Powerpoint.

  3. Hi

You might have been using the free 30 day trial version of PowerPoint and the time limit expired. Some Macs come with the trial version installed on them.

If that's the case, then you will need to purchase PowerPoint (under $150 for the complete office package for home use).

Do you have any other office applications, such as Word or Excel? Are they working?

By any chance could you have put Microsoft Office application into the Trash?  If you did, then you can put it back into the applications folder if you didn't empty the trash yet.

Do you have Leopard?  You could try using Time Machine to return to a restore point where everything was working.

Or you could run the installer CD, remove Office and then re-install office.

You don't need OpenOffice if you already have Microsoft Office, which is better than OpenOffice.

  4. Buy the mac version of Office.
