Question:

Macroevolution in the human hand?

I'm doing an essay about all the perspectives of anthropology (biocultural approach, comparative approach, microevolution, macroevolution). I have to show how the human hand is a good example for each approach. I have done all of them except macroevolution! Does anyone have any examples of how the human hand can be an example of macroevolution?

Thanks heaps for any help, and please don't start arguing for or against evolution, this question is not about that!

  1. there is no macroevolution there is only the creation of man by God. so basically u shouldnt even have to answer the question in ur essay. how can u write a report on something that doesnt exist?

  2. The development of the human hand happened long ago for our ape ancestors hands were barely different to ours. The development of opposable thumbs helped our ancestors to grab hold of things and that is an example of macroevolution.
