Macromedia Fireworks Help Please !?

Question

i have macromedia fireworks and it has been great up until a few days ago, when my .GIFs and anything i made on fireworks had colour in them until i saved them and they turn grey when i open them after saving, and i dont know what i have done or how to change it, someone help me please, thanks,

Have you tried looking over at the Layers part?

Its at your right it tells you all the adjustments you make..

are you sure your supposed to save as GIFs cause when your done...save them as JPEGs thats what i have to do for my RIFFs
