Macromedia flash 8 game question?

Question

ok this is a game question. i have my character and i already know how to make it move by using the keyboard... but my problem is that my character, when moving has only one position, how do i add movements to my character while his' walking or sumthing

You have to make it a movie clip for the on click  image so it appears that he is moving into the position.
