Macross jet VF-25 resembles to what nonfictional jet?

Because almost all of the jets us in macross are american jets like f-14, f117, f-22, f-18, some russian jets like berkut. Im just wondering whet is their latest model

Not too familiar with that series, but from what I could find, I'd say it is very similar to the SU-27, especially in the nose. Also, the way the wings start very far forward by the canopy is similar to the MiG-29. The angle of the vertical stabilizers puts me in mind of the YF-23, which was the aircraft that lost out to the F-22 Raptor to become the new air superiority fighter. If the wings sweep forward, that would also make it look more like the Su-47, Russia's FSW aircraft. Looks like the creator used influences from a few different aircraft in this one.

well, i remember the valkyrie was similar in appearance to the f-15 for a while, but if you look at certain sections at a time, you see influences from various jets like the f-15, the f-14, the f18, and f-111.

The front reminds me of an F-18 with the long pointy nose, high bubble canopy, low rounded intakes, and leading edge root extensions.  

The engine humps are spaced far apart like the F-14 or the Su-27.  The mid section with the variable geometry wings looks like an F-14.

The tail fins are far apart and splayed out like the YF-23
