Your question is unclear.  It sounds like you want to copy VHS to DVD, but this should not be a problem, since VHS tapes are not macrovision-protected.  Therefore I assume you want to copy a protected DVD to VHS.  The answer is that you can't, using the one simple device that you have.  Copying DVDs, either to other DVDs or VHS requires some fancy footwork and a computer with macrovosion-removal software.
