Macys Card.........?

If you was to max your limit of macy's card and pretend decide not to pay for it say like 100 bucks or something does that fu*k up your credit whatsoever? Just curious.

  3. Few people ask rhetorical questions like this.  So I'll try not to be judgmental and just answer the question...

    Any damage to your credit history depends on two things...how many late (or missed) payments you had and how many there were, and if the account eventually defaulted and was sent to collections.

    Ok, that was three things.  Try not to judge me, either.

    With such a small amount, you can probably pay it off anytime afterwards, with the agreement that the card company, or the collection agency, will report to the credit bureau that the account was closed as agreed, rather than charged-off or defaulted.
